Blame Yourself America!!

In the midterm election of 2010, the American public decided to elect Republicans to Congress thereby sending a message to President Obama in an effort to slow down his agenda.  Most of these members consider themselves to be Tea Party members and have little to no experience in politics.  They ran on the agenda of ‘No New Taxes’; repealed the new healthcare law and displayed their bitter disdain for the President (basically because he’s African –American).  These people were hell bent to obstruct the Obama Administration. With this agenda –they managed to bring down an entire nation with them.
Just recently, Standard & Poors (S&P) downgraded America’s credit rating from AAA to AA+.  The main factor that was given for the downgrade was because of the “degree of uncertainty around the political policy process…the nature of the debate and the difficulty in framing a political consensus”   In other words, because of the Tea Party’s  inability to compromise – the U.S. will face this impasse in the future.
Congratulations America!!  You voted these nut jobs into office and if you didn’t vote at all-you might has well just have voted for them.  Why did you do this to our country? Was it because of your racist hatred for the President or was it apathy that did it to you.  No matter the reason, you guys fucked up!! Now interest rates will go up.  In laymen’s terms, prices will go up on everything- food, gas, mortgage rates on credit cards, home mortgage, car loans, and student loans- Catch my drift. It will be like we are living overseas where everything is small and expensive (no value for your buck). You really did it this time.
How Did We Get Here?
The Tea Party was the creation of the Murdoch machine and conservative talk radio host.  They created tension with the Obama Administration from day one- to undermine the massive clean up job that awaited him after the Bush 43^rd presidency. They wanted to keep their way of life intact.
I believe that the Tea Party has won the battle but lost the war.  The American public finally saw these people for whom they truly are- racist, bigots, uncompromising, and uneducated fools.  Their agenda is clear- protecting the wealthy and corporations at all cost.
What Must We Do?
America you have enough time to change this course. In the 2012 elections- you have the power to vote these nut jobs out of office.  From time to time you are allowed to make a mistake. Now since you learn from your mistake-let’s right the ship.  We have been living off the fat of the land for about ten years-now its time to pay the piper. Everyone has to sacrifice- that means cuts to entitlement programs and taxing the rich. This is a balanced approach that the President has called for.
Let’s face it; we have to make sacrifices to maintain the lifestyle we want to live. Let’s elect people in office that are able to work together. This has always been the American way.  This experiment of political bullying should quickly come to an end- so ends the lesson.
